Review of NEW Fast Acting! Cepacol Dual Relief Spray

recently came down with a sore throat. I didn't have time for the sore
throat, or to go to the Doctor. Too much was going on in my life at the
moment, and after all- it was just a sore throat.
So my husband and I
went to the store and checked out things for sore throat. There were
the usual things: "Chloraseptic", and lozenges, "Halls" cough drops and
what not, and then I noticed something different. I found "Cepacol". It
is a dual relief spray. Sore Throat PLUS coating! It is cherry flavored and the 0.75 fluid ounces I bought the bottle and it says it has 100 doses.
I sprayed it in my throat and felt relief INSTANTLY! No delay, and it last for quite some time, and within a few days-my sore throat was completely and totally gone.
The active ingredients include: Benzocaine 5.0% which is an oral anesthetic, and glycerin 33.0% which is an oral demulcent. There are warnings as with any product-they advise you not to use this product if you are allergic to local anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine, benzocaine or any other;caine; anesthetic, not to use this product.
This product was only approximately four dollars at Walmart. It was with all the other sore throat medications.

I do not know how long this product has been on the market, I haven't seen any commercials or heard anything about it either. I just knew my sore throat was bad enough to give anything a try. I purchased many products that night, I only opened the "Cepacol". I never opened anything else. Within in two days maximum, my sore throat was totally gone!
I recommend this product big time. It works fast, and will offer relief to your sore and aching throat problems instantly. And if your child is fussing and whining and crying about their sore throat, use this. It isn't the best tasting, I will tell you that! But it WILL solve the problem.
The bottle I bought was cherry flavored. It didn't taste like it was cherry flavored. It was a terrible taste, and I do mean terrible. But it did the trick I needed it to!
My daughter, who is seventeen had a sore throat also, and she took a dose of it. She spit it out, and told me it was the nastiest taste she ever tasted. She didn't like it at all, but it didn't solve her sore throat problem too!
I give this product two thumbs up, and recommend you give it a try for all of your sore throat needs.
If I had a very young child though, I might suggest distracting them quickly right after spraying their throat, so they don't notice the terrible taste so much! Perhaps making them laugh or giggle before and during the spray process might make the medicine go down quicker and easier.
After all, isn't that what "Mary Poppins" suggested? Or was it sugar?
