Let's play a game. I am going to give you the clues, and you try to figure out what it is that I am describing. This can be fun, let us know in the comment section, when and if you figured it out!

CLUES:
I am an object that you use,

Many people take me everywhere-

I can be known to cause abuse;

And even make people swear!

I can make a noise of your choice,
 
You hold me to your ear;

You use your little voice-

And type words to appear!

I can go mobile or have a chord,

I can be any color you want me to be;

You use me to speak your words-

And I am something you can literally see.

Long ago all I could do was ring,

But now I can make music- and even sing!
