When Will the Sleep Come?
Close your eyes,
Try to sleep....
Deepened sighs;
No tears to weep.
Darkness lurks,
Silence gathers....
Little quirks;
Nothing else matters.
Wanting and wishing,
For the sleep to come....
Something is missing;
Time is never done.
Wasting time away,
Just for a little sleep....
Awaiting the new day;
No more thoughts this deep.
Blanking away any dreams,
Avoiding all thoughts....
Nightmares might cause screams;
Dreams might cause plots!
I want real sleep to come,
Take me deep into the night....
I want the day to be done;
I want to make everything right!
