Good Ole American Communication!
Just my Two Cents Worth...

Something has been getting on my nerves lately, so I decided to do a
little bit of investigating, and then of course, give my two cents
worth.
I
was born and raised in this wonderful Country in which we live. The
good ole USA. A place that many seem or long to be, and actually end up
being. "The land of the free, home of the brave." A place many would be
proud to call home.
"God bless America!"
"God bless America!"
However,
in this Country, dial a number for a business, and you have to press
one for English. Excuse me? If you read the laws for the immigrants to
become U.S. citizens, then you would realize, one of the requirements
were to "learn English." Don't believe me? Look it up.
Yet
daily I have been told by numerous of immigrants and I quote when I
have had problems interpreting them, "learn to speak Spanish!" Excuse
me? Number one, I'm trying, I can speak it to an extent, number two,
you're in my Country, I'm not in yours!
To
become a U.S. Citizen Immigrants are required to learn to read, write
and speak English. More often then not, they do not adhere to this at
all. But yet, they want to live here, and they want all of our rights,
and more. And the Government will usually lend a hand to help Immigrants
get started, especially if Children are involved. And when starting
businesses, they allow immigrants to remain tax free for several years,
once that time period is up, most of the immigrants switch the business
name into another relatives name, giving them another time period tax
free. How do I know this? I speak from experience, as I had to teach
several how to do their books. When you inform the IRS, there is nothing
they can do about it, it is perfectly legal. Now if an American starts a
business, they do not get a period of time tax free. But we were born
here, so that's all good. Right? Whatever.....
Now
another complaint I have. This one relates to businesses, those of you
sending your products overseas to have the labor done, because it is
cheaper. You're putting American's, your very own brethren out of work.
If you're putting "Made in the USA" on your product after that, you're a
fraud, and I have learned that there are several companies around that
are in fact doing just that. I have no issue with you employing illegal
aliens, if they want to work and make money that's fine, but if you're
going to do so-take you and you're business there. This way everything
is there. Stop shipping work in the USA overseas taking away from
Americans. It is wrong, and you know it, especially when you know there
are plenty of hard working people looking for jobs, and you could just
as easily employ them! Get with the program and play fair!
On
a final note, I have a request. Laugh if you will, but those of you
running your nail salons, while you're doing customers nails, it is rude
talking your native language, giggling, and looking, sometimes even
staring. Eventually; people can figure out that you're being rude. And
to those of you in the stores, and in the lines and grocery stores, and
wherever else there are long lines waiting; talking your native language
with your friend, the same goes to you as well. Those around you can
tell when you are talking negatively and trust me, it is rude. Show a
little respect. If you want to talk crap about someone, at least wait
until you're home, or get far enough away from said person. Is that a
bit too much to ask for? I honestly don't think so, but then again, I'm
an adult, and am sick and tired of adults that act like Children.
I
would like to remind those of you whom have immigrated to our wonderful
Country, before I close this entry. English is our Native language, use
it.
Well,
I hope I didn't offend or upset too many people with this entry, but I
just had to get a few things off of my chest. Now it's your turn to
respond!
