Insight into Hatred

As defined in the dictionary:

Hatred - (noun) the emotion of intense dislike; a feeling of dislike so strong that it demands action.
Notice in the above definition, "a feeling of dislike so strong that it demands action."

For every action, there is always a reaction. And if someone is causing you to hate them, they have you under control. You thoughts are of them, your desire is to get even, or lash out, and make it known that they are not liked.

Let's think for a moment shall we? What made you hate this person? What did this person do to you, to make you hate them? Because obviously they have had to do something.

If this person did nothing, is it jealousy? Because then you need to think of it this way, your hatred is not legitimately hatred. It is more envious then anything.

If this person stole something from you, abused in any way shape or form, then we need to look at it in another way also. Why did they steal from you in the first place? If they abused you, let's go with physically-what made them do it?

Why am I looking for reasons behind hatred? Because there has to be a reason, there was something down the line that made it happen.

And sometimes more often then not, our hatred cannot be justified. Sometimes we get so distracted by our daily activities; eventually we even forget why it is, that we hate someone.

Don't let your hatred consume you. It will eat you up inside, and take control. There are better things that you can be doing. Focus on yourself, things that need done, where you could go to relax, and what is more important. Everything is more important than hate.

To hate is human, to let it consume you, is pure evil.
