Because
I've been having trouble sleeping, and my doctors advised I take a hot
bath before bed, I decided to give something else a try. And I have been
doing that. Just the other day, I seen a commercial for Dove's Calming
Night Beauty bar, which is supposed to help you relax after days-worth
of stress. I thought the two might go hand-in-hand.
The smell of
this product is not too full of perfumes, its quite gentle, not over
bearing at all. I thought that was a good idea. And on the box it says
that it is made with 1/4 moisturizing cream. The soap is a pale baby
blue. The packaging is a dark blue, when you try to find it at the
store.
I didn't have a bad reaction to it, like some soaps, if they are too strong, I break out. This didn't happen, and I even shaved my legs, therefore opening the pores even more, and still no break outs. I didn't feel like I had a film on me, either. Which is a good thing, there are soaps that do that. And it didn't leave a residue in the tub either. So all in all it seems like a pretty good product. There are those of us out there, who like to try new things! And maybe this might be right for you, so my advise, it what do you have to loose? After all, being clean is the end result!
This product is produced by Unilever in Trumbull, Connecticut. The bar size was 4.25 ounces. And it was refreshing and relaxing, and not too pricing either. So all in all I think this product is worth a try, if you are in the mood for something new! On the scale of one to ten I give it an eight. I am not sure why I didn't give it a ten, other then the fact that I was raised on Dial, and my children's pediatricians also suggested Dial for my kids, so I think I must be more loyal to them. Dove, long ago, did give me problems, so it was a big step for me to try them! I was allergic long ago. So, yes I stick to my eight rating, with a suggested shove, in the "Go for it!" direction!
You can find all of the Dove product line online at their site which is www.dove.com if you wish to check out their products there.
