A descriptive poem game where you guess what it is I am telling you about. In the comments section, you tell us where you figured it out at, if at all.

 

 

 
CLUES:

Here you are again,

Sitting here looking at me;

Do you have anything to gain?

And what is it you see?

Sometimes I look like a TV,

And other times I am just a screen full of words-

But whatever it is that you do see;

Just keep me away from the birds!

I have a board full of letters,

A tower that hangs around with us too;

And when you type I can make it all better;

And teach you what you should do!

I am wise and store things for you too,

I can crash and burn in the flash of an eye;

I can even get sick but not just any flu-

If you're not careful I can even die too!

I am electronic and can get upgraded,

I can come in colors if that's what you crave;

I often look like I am tan or silver plated;

And my hard drive can even have a "slave"!

If you haven't figured it out yet,

I don't know what else to tell you;

But I sure can bet-

You're using me right now too!

CLUES:
I have wings, and I can fly,

I fly fast and way up high.

Before I flew I used to crawl,

An inch at a time, and that was all.

We often stop to smell the roses,

And you cannot see our noses!

Different sizes, colors and shapes-are how we are known,

Where the land is warm, we call that home.

We make a tent to change into flight,

And stay there for many a night.

We make no noise that you can hear,

And in the Winter-we disappear.

Nibbling on leaves is how we live,

And beauty is what we give.

One thing we don't understand,

Is the name you gave-it's too bland!

My friends and I have voted, and we say:

Change our name to "Beautifly" today!

I've often been known to make people cry,

And the truth is- I don't know why.

I shed my skin, and have a strong smell-

Some people don't like me, I can just tell!

Usually I'm white, but sometimes not,

And my skin is often brown, unless I rot.

I am a vegetable, and I grow under ground,

I can spice up your life, without a sound!

What I am doing here, is going to give you some clues. As I am giving them, try to figure out, what it is, I am describing to you. In the comments section, tell me in which line, you had it figured out!

 

 
CLUES:
I am silver and I fly,

People always spot me in the sky!

I watch football games,

And I have several names!

My engine noise is very distinct,

I have lights that often blink!

I can spell words and even a phrase,

But yet- I cannot go to outer space!

My name is a compound word,

And I am much bigger than a bird!

The first of my kind was made in Germany,

When I fly I am pointed at by many!

When they are done with me just so you know-

They tie me down, so I cannot go!

I live inside a hangar bigger than a football field,

And I also have a very big windshield!

My logo has gold trim and a dark blue,

And just so you know, this is your last clue!

This is a guessing game poem. I give the clues, you figure out what it is I am describing. After you have read it, in the comments section, tell us what line you figured it out by, if you in fact did!


CLUES: 

I am a place where you learn,

A place where people can be taught-

An education you will earn...

An education is what is sought.

Children attend me, sometimes adults too,

I can be any color choice, but usually am two-

I have a mascot, someone to support you,

I have many kinds of teams too!

There are many grade levels for me,

Sometimes many floors within me too,

I often have desks and chalk boards to see-

And of course there is seating too!

Once you have completed the years with me,

You should have something to show for it!

You should have some sort of degree,

But if you don't I'd sure be having a fit!

Teachers teach within me, helping you learn-

There's nothing more to say here,

But remember the degree you can earn!

Just know there are many of me, far and near!

CLUES: 

I control the weather, so to speak-

Make the wind blow, the sun shine;

Each and every day of the week....

Sometimes you will think they day is fine!

But then again, I can change my mind,

And make the sunny day turn to gray;

I am not something you can find-

But I'm there each and every day!

What I am is a name you have given me,

My name has nothing to do with science-

I am not something that you can physically see;

And I can be outside playing with ants!

In my name is a mother,

There are pictures and drawings of me-

But I look like none other,

Than any thing else you've ever seen.

I don't think I can come up with another clue,

But whatever you have thought so far...

I always have something to do-
 
I'm not a real being- like you are!

A descriptive poem game thing, that I have obviously been playing, so much- that I had to number them for you, the reader! Anyway, please type in the comments section when you figured out what it is I am cluing you into!

 

CLUES! 

I am in the newspaper,

The cartoon section to be exact!

I am not a total dog hater-

And I do not go "quack quack!"

I am orange, black and furry,

I love to eat lasagna too;

With just a pinch of curry-

And it is yummy through and through!

I have a friend, he is a dog you know-

His fur is yellow, his ears brown;

We've made a few movies, not just a show!

And sometimes people think I am a clown!

Other than that I don't know what to say,

I think I've said enough anyway-

But sleeping is what I do almost all day-

And I do like to make you smile every single day!!

A "What am I?" themed poem where you are given clues to figure out what the poem is trying to describe.

CLUES:

I am a a book,

Some of you may not have read me-

But with just one look;

As you read my words you will see.

I am the oldest book around,

Read by many,

I tell a story of floods that drown-

If you remember any.

I have been translated to many languages you know,

Because what I say is important;

People like to read me nice and slow-

So they learn of my importance!

Many time my books are family heirlooms,

To say the least-

I am always in most any room-

And I speak often of the beast.

In a hotel room drawer I sit and wait,

Wanting to be read,

While you're on your date-

But you lay in the bed instead....
