A Poem for My New Found Friend:

I'm glad I met you, 

I'm glad our paths crossed.

I remember never knowing you.

Then I even remember hating you.

Now I think of you often

And when I do....

A big smile comes across my face every time.

I wanted you to know. 

I wanted you to remember,

You are a great friend

That I'll never return to sender!

It's hard to believe I ever hated you,

It's hard to believe we just met!

But you make me smile through and through;

And to everyone else- I'll just bet!!!

So I wanted to write a little poem for you,

And let others know you're truly great;

Because now I'm glad to have met you:

And I want others to know you're great!

Why am I here?
What am I doing?
Why must I listen?
I can't stop this mood from brewing! She never stops,
On and on, over and over;
Telling her tales--
Gosh I wish I could shove her!!
I don't want to listen,
But I don't want to be rude either;
I don't need on her bad side--
Trust me I'm not that eager!
Listen to the tales,
Knowing their untrue-
Wanting to say: "Just stop!"
But then it's me she'll screw!
She's the type you keep close,
Even though you don't like her;
Because if you don't-just trust me;
She can hurt anyone I've seen her!
She doesn't care who she stabs,
She doesn't care what you believe,
And I think she knows we all know-
It's just a matter of what you perceive.
She cries wolf more then a child,
Tells you anything you want to hear-
So I try to avoid her;
But when I do--she comes over here!!
I bit off more then I could chew this time,
But at least I learn from my mistakes;
I don't care if she figures out this dumb rhyme!
Because she needs to know for goodness sake!!
This goofy poem is about a so called friend of mine, if you will, that
is a story teller. She never has time to listen to anyone else's tales of woe.
Only enough time to tell hers. She always has something wrong with her,
and someone to blame. It is starting to get to me, because I know the truth.
And I am just sick and tired of seeing her use and abuse people, and lie to
and about them, and literally get away with it. Ugh! Yes, I know- there are
always these types of people out there, we have all had out share of them.
I just am fed up with DRAMA! Someone please press pause, before its too late! LOL

I can't stand it when people think they understand me,
I can't stand it when you pretend to be my friend.
I can't stand it when you act like something you're not;
And then ruin a friendship in the end! I can't stand it when you talk about me behind my back,
And act like I'm your best friend to my face.
You think I don't know whats going on?
But I can tell just by the look on your face!
I can't stand it when someone thinks you need--
Things like their friendship to survive.
There are more important things in the World;
Then friendship--like being grateful you're ALIVE!
Life is too short to waste it arguing and crying,
Worrying about drama and lies!
If that's all your friend has to offer---
Then it's time to say your good byes!
Thats why I cant stand it when people play head games,
I walk away just as fast as I walked in!
There is more to life then drama you know;
And drama, and jealousy are a sin!
I can't stand it when people lie,
I can't stand it when people toy with your heart....
I can't stand it when they want what you have;
And I cant stand it when people try to tear your marriage apart!!!
People can be pretty darn petty, and down right evil,
Unfortunately that is sometimes true.....
So always keep your guard up, and keep a look out---
Protect yourself, and your loved ones too!!!
I can't stand to have to tell you this,
But I have been down a lotta bad roads in my time;
And unfortunately that is how I learned all of my lessons......
And that is why I made this little rhyme!!!
