This was originally written on May 23, 1992. 
I wrote it in tears....

My Mother died of Cancer on May 27, 1992.

I love and miss you Mommy!

I don't want you to leave,
I don't want to let you go....
Yet it's you I deceive;
I never let you know.
~
Soon your life may end,
And all I do is cry....
Hoping you will mend;
Then you won't have to die.
~
I know you are in pain,
I know it isn't fair...
Someday you may gain;
And beat this nightmare!
~
Fighting may someday pay,
So always have the will....
Win over this disease today;
"Cause I know you've had your fill!
