My Beliefs & Thoughts About God & the Past Or Present?!

My Beliefs & Thoughts About God & the Past

Or Present?!

God is a very sensitive and touchy subject, so when speaking aloud of Him, one must be careful how things are worded. On paper it is a little easier.

I am writing about God today because, for one, yes I believe in Him. For two, I am having a problem with those who don't, and want to rearrange our lives and make us remove it from our currency and pledge. I see no reason they just can't ignore it, as they have done in the past. We as humans have believed in God, more then we have not believed, because the non belief didn't come into play until much later.

Don't get me wrong, I do question the bible from time to time, because yes, it does contradict itself in more then one instance. But in all realization, if it is man writing down what God is saying, then of course it will contradict itself-for one-think about this. We, as mankind are not perfect! For two, have you yourself ever written or typed something, and one of your kids come up to you, and asks you a question.

You type, as you're writing, "not now, I'm busy, give me a minute." So let's say Moses is writing what God told him to write, and then his wife asks him something. Let's say they even discussed her question. Then he goes back to writing, it and "what is it God said? Oh yeah, something about bread...what was it?"

I am one of the few who believe evolution and in God, most don't believe in both. But I do, and let me tell you why. The Dinosaurs and the cave men, were Adam and Eve. It is one in the same, in my eyes anyway. The creatures they ate and lived upon were dinosaurs. And the ice age, was perhaps when the flooding took place, because after all, of course we are going to have a flood, after the ice melts. Think about this.

The past is always something that interests me. History, including the bible, because someone had the decency to write it, so we knew it happened. When I was a kid in School, it bored me, until I finally had a teacher that knew how to teach it, to intrigue you. The past of mankind, whether it be biblical or not, is something we all need to learn and know, because we can grow from it, and correct the mistakes we have made in the past.

You often hear of people asking, "If God exists then why did he let this happen to me? Why didn't he just let me die?!" There is always a reason. Perhaps that person needed to make amends with a family member. Perhaps in that persons crippled state, they were supposed to teach others, as did Christopher Reeve. He shared his life, his dilemma, still acted, and tried to encourage others to go on, and not just others who were also less fortunate.

But anyone who had a problem, to take a bite out of that problem, examine it, and your life, and makes the best of it. Helen Keller was blind; she still made an example and succeeded. As I have mentioned, none of us are perfect. But we are all here, in this spot, place and time for a reason. A reason that might not be visible to us, but there always is one.

They say that God has a plan for us all. He has previously mapped out our lives. That I do not believe in. I think God simply watches us, mistakes and all, and lets us make up our own minds, and learn from our own mistakes. He has no plan; He is just watching and learning with us.

Then there is mythology, where they mention several Gods. I also believe in that, and think that when there was, or is our God, there were more then one, which is why He mentioned He wanted no other Gods before Him. As you can well enough see, my beliefs are strange. But I am sure that I am not alone.

I also believe that there is life on other planets. Perhaps each God chose and made a planet, and made a species of their own, to watch it evolve and grow. And now the species, including mankind, are visiting the other planets to see, and learn. And compliments of the movies that mankind makes, if an Alien were to come here, that Aliens chance of living to tell about it, are slim to none. And again, in all honesty, along with my beliefs, I believe there is an area 51, and we have already taken hostage and alien and dissected it.

Regarding the Egyptians and how they made pyramids, I think there is a possibly that the Egyptians were more evolved then we give them credit. If you read past Egyptian writings, and relics and different things about the bible, including the bible code book, computers were around before we even thought or imagined them. So if computers were in our past, long before we thought to invent them, obviously there were other technologies as well. A strange belief that I have, is that evolution, and our time span are doing a circle.

And repeating itself. I think there is a possible that the UFO's and visitors to our planet are not in fact visitors, but people time traveling from our past, and I think it could be the Egyptians. They are time traveling, implanting their seeds into people from the future and trying to keep the human race from killing itself off. (If there is in fact proof of human being impregnated when they have been abducted.) I think one reason, is perhaps when King Tut knew he was dying, perhaps he wanted an heir if you will, someone from his family history to go on. Maybe the relics will tell us this, maybe the relics and Egyptian drawings already have.

There is so much about our past, present and future that superiors keep secret, one would really never know the truth. And that is part of the problem. Maybe I have a huge imagination, and am bored. Maybe it is the truth, and there are people out there who just don't want us to know, because they "think" we can't handle the truth.

Anyway, this is some of the things I believe in, because I have an open mind, and am willing to go with the flow and grow with it. Technology and time, is for change. One must be willing to go and grow with it. And the mind is a terrible thing to waste, even if this is all my imagination, at least my imagination works!

Opinion: Mythology, Science & Religion!

Mythology, Science & Religion:

Just my two cents.....

This was not published on yahoo voices, or Associated content.

I've been wanting to start writing something like this for quite sometime, but haven't had the time. I also wasn't certain if I wanted to do it as a book, or what. But then I was like, a blog would be perfect, because then you could actually start a discussion, providing you could actually get others to respond; (crossing fingers!)

You see, I like to watch these certain shows, and I've been watching them since I was really young. TV was about the only thing we were really allowed to do as kids, believe it or not. And as an adult, having Children every two years, and surgeries in between, (not just sitting on my rear doing nothing like some seem to think; including my own Children! Sorry, I just had to put that out there...) the TV is something you learn is always there.

Also one of my favorite subjects in School was Mythology. Learning about the Gods, and what not. And then, as a teen on Channel 43, WUAB in Akron, Ohio; on the week ends every so often, there would be these old specials with "The Gods" involving Zues and what not. It was a rather old show then, trust me. It was so old, it was right when they learned, and I will tell you exactly what was on the screen: "Technicolor!" In other words, it was one of the first color Movies made.

The point I'm trying to slowly, (obviously) get to here, is something I have came to notice over the years while watching TV shows, series, Movies and what not. I've noticed that a lot of them follow the same "idea" if you will, and not on purpose. It's like everyone knows, or believes the same thing.

So this has made me do some thinking, and in order to make you do some thinking too, I need to point out the things I've learned, so you can see and follow along. Then afterwards, maybe you too, will even see other things I've missed, or even disagree with me. Who knows.

I want to start with "StarGate SG1" one of my ultimate favorite series. I own the entire collection. Firstly, let me say, I give this show five of five stars, I just want to put that out there.

Now then, with "StarGate" we learn of the Asgard. now mind you, you can argue about the spelling, some may spell it differently, it depends on you, but I looked it up. Now on "StarGate" I'm personally noticing these particular "Aliens" as looking like the ones the entire World describes as seeing in real life. Just think about that one. Point number one.

Changing subjects real quick, I would like to add a quick side note if you will. Regarding Aliens. If they weren't real, then tell me, why is it, 99% of the World describes them the same? If you're wanting attention wouldn't you describe "your Alien" to look like the ones from the Movie "Alien" with Sigourney Weaver?! I mean come on! Yet NASA and the entire Government denies everything, and these people have "returned" with odd pieces of metal in them, allegedly probed and what not, willing to be inspected and by our own Government to prove their own theory, only to be called "Liars" in the end?! Seriously? And yet, everyone's stories match.....you tell me.....who the liar really is with that one.

Ok back on the Mythology topic. Ok, so I've pointed out, that I personally think the Asgard's as seen in "StarGate" make a perfect match up with the "Aliens" people are claiming to have seen.

The next subject I'd like to touch on, would be Thor. He is Asgard, but yet in the Marvel Comics Movies, he is a sexy hunk of a man. Loki, his brother, although we later learn "adopted" brother not a true child of Asgard, but a Child of the "Frost Giants!" These Asgardians look nothing like the Aliens portrayed in "StarGate", but still, we are reliving Mythology in this Movie as well.

Thor on "StarGate" was nothing like the Marvel Comics Character, however he did have a hammer, and a planet that he derived it to trap Jaffa. Once in the cave with the Thor's Hammer trap there was usually no way out for the Jaffa, because they were incubating a Gua'ld. Death was usually the result, but if you've ever watched "StarGate" they always manage to save the team of SG1. In the end, they destroy the Hammer, ruining the plan of Thor and a place to rid the Jaffa of growing more God's.

Speaking of God's, the theory on "StarGate" whereas the God's are snakes and need put into people? No, this I beg to differ with. Never in a million years would I ever see anything realistically
Iike this ever happening. A snake type creature, is seemingly evil, which might be what they were hoping to portray here, since these Gods were/are in fact evil. For that matter, I don't recall an Apophis in the Mythology, but I could be wrong, and haven't taken the time to thoroughly research it as of yet, if I do I will update this later, and make a note of it.

Another thing I was thinking about the Mythological Gods. (This is where I'm going to irritate people to say the least, and putting it nicely!) In the Bible, (Pause for affect) God states as a Commandment: "Thou shalt not put any other God's before me!" Number one, I am going to touch on a number of bases here, so be prepared. And everyone knows that Science and Religion don't mix, so this is going to get touchy, but I need to get this off of my chest, it's been sitting here since I was like nine!

Number one, how did God know there were other Gods? And don't even feed me that crap where He meant idols and worshipping things. Nope, not going to work. And here's another, who says, (you're really going to like this one! Probably not!) but who says that the God speaking the Commandments wasn't Zues? Have you ever thought of that? I'll let you all think about what I've said for a few....because I'm not done....

Here's something else. Humans are far from perfect. You know it, and I know it. For that matter, I bet you can find typos in this blog if you look. Just making a point, I usually have typos somewhere, just saying. My point being, with that said; God is stating the Commandments and they are being written, on a concrete tablet. That in itself isn't easy. How many times have you lost your place when you yourself were reading or doing something? How badly would it freak you out to be talked to by a Spirit, or even a burning bush, per se? I mean, be honest. And then to scribe what you're being told onto concrete, yeah. You're not going to make any mistakes, you're going to be perfect, because God told you to. Here's hoping!

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not slamming on the Bible, I'm not disagreeing with it, or anything like that. Don't go assuming. I am a Christian. I don't care what anyone says, Christians can wonder. I have been told, "A true believer doesn't wonder, that's called being a 'doubting Thomas!'" Whatever. I call it having an open mind, always wanting to learn and educate myself.

There was more I wanted to add, but I feel I may have made enough people mad just by writing this entry, which was not my intent. So I guess I will end it here. Maybe I will just make a continuance later, if this entry doesn't cause me complications. I'm hoping it doesn't, I am honestly being an open minded, person, I truly enjoy learning, and educating myself, and sharing myself with others. I believe communication is the key to success, and with that, we can all grow. Therefore, I opened myself up to you all.
